CYCRA RACING ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP
WITH KTM NORTH AMERICA OFF-ROAD
KTM Off-Road Racing and Cycra are off to a good start in 2009. With the use of Cycra products, KTM Off-Road Racing’s
Russell Bobitt has claimed the first 2 stops of the National Enduro Series and Mike Brown secured a win at the second stop
of the WORCS Off-Road series this past weekend.
KTM Off-Road Race Team and Cycra Racing recently announced a partnership for the 2009 season. Cycra will be the
official hand guard sponsor for the championship winning KTM Off-Road Race Team.
Cycra’s hand guards will be used by all of the KTM Off-Road racers, and the team will also be using Cycra’s Powerflow
shrouds which are already popular with the MDK/KTM Supercross Team.
Cycra’s owner Glen Laivins stated, “We are really excited to be working with the factory KTM team. We have a large variety
of products to offer them and we believe we can help them obtain another championship for 2009. We are looking forward
to working with, and listening to, KTM’s feedback and using that information to develop more race proven products for
Cycra.”
KTM’s Off-Road Team Mgr Antti Kallonen said, “Cycra is an innovative company and we are happy to be working with them
for the 2009 season. They have a wide variety of hand guard styles which offers a benefit to the racers on my team. My
riders will be able to choose the product that fits their specific riding style. “
